LIFE-CYCLE CARBON FOOTPRINT
A Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) is used to assess a building’s environmental impact and consumption of natural resources, i.e., its environmental sustainability. The life-cycle assessment considers the entire life-cycle of the building, from the procurement of materials to the end of its useful life. ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR CONSTRUCTION BREEAM
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is an international environmental certification system for construction, which can be used to assess the environmental, social, and economic responsibility of properties. With Finnfoam Oy’s insulation solutions, our customers are better equipped to obtain a BREEAM certification for their building.
PIONEER IN QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS
Since 2013, an Environmental Product Declaration (RTS EPD) has been prepared for each Finnfoam product. Environmental Product Declarations provide information on the environmental impact of construction materials, which is used in the preparation of LCAs for buildings.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
Finnfoam’s main focus is to provide solutions that enable low energy consumption to our customers. Structural energy efficiency allows us to ensure low energy consumption by buildings, which means that energy can be generated at practically sized power stations producing renewable energy.
