Rabbet (FL)

Due to its fully consistent and closed cell structure, FINNFOAM (XPS) is a durable, waterproof thermal insulation product. FINNFOAM is excellently suited for use as frost insulation and for insulating base floors, walls, and ceilings. It is also perfect for various supplementary thermal insulation applications.

In 2020, the range was expanded to include thicker standard panels as well (FI and FL) up to 300 mm. Using thicker panels reduces the amount of layers that need to be installed, thus speeding up work at the worksite significantly. For example, deck slabs and inverted or green roofs can be built using two layers of FINNFOAM insulation, which provides a U value of 0.09 W/m2K. The thicker rabbet-edged panels also allow for faster installations with slab-on-ground foundations.
